They may not be as professional as you can get with $150 but it will be still better than the simple text which you were planning to use. LogoNerds charge $27 for a logo which is a very nominal price considering their service.They offered unlimited reversions, which is great (I have tried until 8 revisions and they have done that without expressing any issues).
